A great night at Rose City

Action shot of me reading. Exciting, huh?

I’ve been remiss updating my blog what with the holidays and life and such, but that should not diminish from the wonderful time I had reading from Portland Renaissance at Rose City Book Pub in December. Cool hangout, cool people and cool time. I read the chapters about Zefiro restaurant, the story behind the Nike slogan Just Do It, and second generation brewpub Lucky Labrador.

Me and the talented Bill Hernandez.

I also welcomed frequent collaborator and longtime friend Bill Hernandez, who performed his singer-songwriter magic. Bill even played and sang a song I co-wrote with him, ‘A Summer Song.’ Have a listenn. It will warm you, especially in these cold months.

Many thanks to the wonderful friends who joined us and to the pub patrons who listed in. I love doing readings and talking about a great time in Portland history.
